There is a bit of a learning curve but keep trying because chances are you will end up loving it!! Cutting the stem off is usually an excellent idea, and so is wetting it before you try inserting it. If you try one and have problems, come back to Green Families and we will help you.

thanks for the advice! I have read articles and advice but haven't purchased one yet because I don't want to spend a bunch of money purchasing different ones and then them not working for me.

Re: Favorite menstrual cup?

I've used a diva cup for 6 years with no issues and I like it, both size 1 then size 2. I'd like to get a second one as backup and I just had the thought to try another brand maybe. The only thing I'd like better about the diva cup is for it to be darkened already and easier to read the amts, though those 2 request might be counter to each other.

Thanks for the post! I will look into the Lunette.

Has anyone used the Blossom Cup? It's less expensive so maybe good as a backup cup.

Re: Favorite menstrual cup?

I used to have the Diva cup. I had a vaginal birth, so i bought size 2. it was SO uncomfortable, and like others... it poked and hurt me, and slid out. I don't know what the deal was. I don't have a weak pelvic floor....
then I got a lunette. the small one, and despite 2 vaginal births, it fits great! and it's comfortable.

I gave the Diva cup to my friend. it's silicone, so she could boil it to sterilize it.

Re: Favorite menstrual cup?

Discovering menstrual cups is one of the best finds ever! Great thread! I've used the Diva cup for years and really like it, but loved reading your reviews on some of the other ones out there! It sounds like I may need to try the Lunette! Thanks, Ladies!

Yuuku is my fav but have only used it and the keeper. Did not like the fact that the keeper smells nasty after use or is it just mine? Any one else have that problem?
