My Mood:
trying to stick w it....

if only once every couple or few days.

i have NO milk. DS isn't ready to give it up totally. there are times that he's okay for a day or two without it..... but i really try to let him latch every so often so that he remembers how to latch. he's 16mos. i fully had the intention of @ least 2 years (full time) then gradually work on weaning him. then i got . i'm half way thru this. and i have no milk and it hurts SO bad because i'm SO tender to let him dry nurse.

will he stick with it do you think? he's got 20ish more weeks to go. but less than that before the colostrum starts coming in right?

i weaned DD at 19mos because of this issue. it hurt TOO bad to continue. but she was an all or nothing kid. she cried for a couple of days then showed no interest again. he's fine it seems with the every few days session.

am i horrible for doing this to him?
