Homeschool help

Hi all!! I am considering homeschooling my kids- none of them are school age yet but want to start learning about the options. My oldest is 3 1/2 and I would like to find a preschool program for him. I know there are alot of sites but I am looking for something to order that would come with all i need. He knows all his colors and counts very well. Mostly I am needing to work on his letters and phonics. Thanks for any hep you can give.

Re: Homeschool help

If you go to the Homeschool forum inside Parenting Talk there's a thread for preschool links.

Off hand, I used Letter of the Week with my kids. I've also heard lots of good things about Before Five in a Row.

Re: Homeschool help

Try posting in the homeschool area here, they should be able to give you some advice. abeka.com is a good website, they sell curriculum kits - its actually what I used when I was in school (homeschooled). Good luck!

Re: Homeschool help

For my preschoolers I use Rod and Staff and Mother Goose Time.

Also sometimes I go to Walmart and they have lots of little workbooks for little kids.

There is a lot of info in the homeschool area. Go to Parent Talk and up at the talk you will see Homeschooling. HTH.

Not sure if you're Christians or not, but I do know offhand that A Beka has an extensive preschool program. abeka.com or abeka.org is the site.
