Re: Tips to get the most milk?

Like the previous posters said, relaxing is the key. I know, I know - when you're stressed about feeding your baby, it's sooo hard to relax! the two things I've found that help me get a little more when pumping are using a manual pump and distracting myself from thinking about pumping! I could never get comfortable holding the flanges of an electric pump - and the noise, oh the noise!! My manual pump is lighter and quieter. I try to watch mindless shows on Netflix or read a book when pumping, too. I'm still only getting 2-4 oz per session, but that's okay.

You're doing a great job. Hang in there, momma!

My Mood:
You've gotten some great advice here..just wanted to add maybe taking a hot shower before pumping sometimes, trying a power pumping session (10 mins pumping, 10 off, repeat for an hour) and also I second the Domperidone if you need it. You are doing FANTASTIC and it will get easier!!
