Re: Flat folds, a comprehensive list?

Here is my lo (again 6lbs 12 oz) in doubled-up dyed by me gerber gauze flats.

This is a kite fold, I think. I like how soft and squishy the gerbers are, and we usually use them for loveys and burp cloths. But they also snappi really easily, just wish they were more absorbent!

Re: Flat folds, a comprehensive list?

Just folded a big stack of diapers and tried out a bunch of different folds. I will add some more pictures tomorrow! Anyone else have any favorite folds, picture tutorials or videos??

Lovin' this! Now, which ones work the best for a 30lb 3 feet tall 19 month old? I bought some toddler flats for him and our issue is making sure there's enough wings to come around his waist. Anyone else have this problem? After folding, the whole flat seems too short everywhere to fit him. What am I doing wrong?

For me, the origami fold has the longest wings, and on the nappy lady website, she says you can you can pull down on the soaker area after you fold it to get a longer rise: http://www.thenappylady.co.uk/public...ls.aspx?id=146

I use a kite fold on my 3 year old DD with a regular flat....I just fold it in a bit less on all sides. HTH
