fix for saggy PFs on very active toddler?

I'm having problems with my prefolds getting really saggy around the legs after my very active 18 month old has worn them for a bit. It doesn't matter how snug they are when I put them on, they always get saggy. I've tried putting them below his belly (though he doesn't have much of a baby belly at all as he's pretty skinny) and it doesn't make any difference. I snappi and use GMD red edge PFs. Is there any way to prevent the saggy legs?

Do you jelly roll the legs? That works for my very active toddler.

I second the jelly roll. Plus, I've noticed if I'm using an older snappi sometimes it doesn't hold as well.

I get sagging with the angelwing fold that I like, so I have to use the jellyroll fold (which unfortunately doesn't offer as much absorbency).
My fix is to trifold instead! I like to let B go coverless, but using a wool wrap (that breathes) is just as good imo, and I can just slap it on the wiggler quick!

We have tried to fix this same issue w/ DS and the ONLY way that we can let him go coverless w/ a prefold is to do the bikini twist. Usually I use a liner so his boy bits dont get mixed up in the twist. With a lot of practice and making sure it is tight and snug to start w/ this has been successful for many many months.

Jelly roll fold. I have a 2 year old. This is the only fold tht works for him. I just use a hemp doubler to help with absorbancy
