Our first wool soakers! :) *PICS*

My mom decided to try crocheting wool soakers for DD. I think they turned out pretty good! She made 2 different patterns to see which would work best. They are both a little big, but DD has a sposie on under them for these pics, so they would fit tighter with a fitted underneath.

Those look awesome. Looks like you found some Paton's wool yarn. I make some of my woolies with their blue color, which ends up looking just like blue jeans so it matches with everything.

Yeah, she found Paton's at Joann fabrics. It is a lot scratchier than I was hoping for, but maybe that's just how 100% wool feels... I don't have anything else to compare it to. We're still working out the pattern size, but they are looking pretty good for beginners!
