I don't know what patterns she used, but I know she found them free online. I like the looks of the purple one better, but the pink/brown one seems to fit better.

they look great! i love the top one, the pattern looks like it was crocheted vertically instead of horizontally maybe? it's really pretty and original!

Thanks Mama! Yes, it was crocheted vertically. It made it a little more difficult to figure out the size, which is why it is a little big. My mom said that next time she is going to do the same pattern, but go down one hook size to see it that helps.
