GMD workhorse diaper question

Just wondering if someone can advise me if I should order yellow or red GMD workhorse fitteds. DS is about 12-13lbs and skinny.

This is my DD, 4 months old and ~14lbs, wearing Workhorse diapers:

Yellow:

Red:

Small BSWW over Yellow:

Litewrap M over Red:

If your LO is tall I'd go with the red.

ok so i tried Red and it fits her, snappied or twist, it fits under a small size thirstie and the duo 1... a tad bit bulky but it will work....

I usually use the yellow/green trim trifolded in a small thirstie and the duo 1 (all unsnapped).

The red one definitely is too big to go trifolded in a small size or duo 1.

I suggest you go with Red too.

Cloth-eez Workhorse are fitteds made from the same fabric as the Cloth-eez Prefolds.

Are you going with the snaps or the snappi-able version?
My 16lb 11 month old is wearing the snap version with one size smaller adjustment left. HTH
If you need pics I can get some when she wakes up

Re: GMD workhorse diaper question

My 9 month old SKINNY DD (about 15 lbs) wears the reds on the first snap size (not the cross over) they work wonderful although they seem to gape a bit at the legs when i add doublers for night (never had a leak though) I say red... you will get more use out of them although they will be a bit big for a little while...

Yeah, obviously my little cherub is not what one would call skinny by any stretch of the imagination . But, she is tall, which is why I say go with the red, because the rise on the yellow is a bit short for my DD.

Re: GMD workhorse diaper question

Thank you ladies! I have Bummis SB small, SWW small, Thirsties small, and Thirsties duo 1 for PUL, and lots of fleece and wool. Usually we used bG bamboo fitteds in small and the Bummis are HUGE over it. I appreciate teh photos and people checking! I will probably go with red. OH, as for the legs gaping w/ a doubler, that doesn't really matter once you put a cover over it, right?
