Lewisville area mommies?

Hi there! I live in Highland Village, and am wondering if there are any other CDing mommies in the area. I have 3 kids (Samantha-5, Layla-4, Evan-11 weeks). Any ideas for indoor activities in the area? It's SOOO hot this year!!! So we really can't do anything outside since my 11 week old just can't take the heat. Would love to hear from some of you local mommies

Re: Lewisville area mommies?

Hey there, I'm in Lewisville. I have two boys, Kearnan will be 9 next month and Tharen is 4.5. My kiddos are out of cloth now and we probably won't be having any more. There are a few things to do in the area in doors, but not a whole lot. We do a lot of movies in the summer months because it is just miserable. There is Going Bonkers up by the Vista Ridge Mall and there is also an indoor play area in the mall itself. The play area is free, Going Bonkers is pretty cheap. Other than that there is bowling but it gets kind of expensive. We have been going to the shopping center at 407 and 2499 in the evenings. We go to a movie then let the boys play in the pop up fountain there. It isn't so bad at about 7 in the evenings. It has cooled off enough that I don't feel like I'm going to die sitting out there and I don't have to worry about sun burns. I let them play for an hour or two and then we sometimes eat at the restaurants right around it. Sometimes we just take them out to play in the fountains without seeing a movie or anything because it is free and fun. Lewisville has two great public pools as well if you like that sort of thing.
