Saying Hi!

Wanted to pop in and say hello. I am expecting #2 in December. I have enjoyed learning/reading about CDing the past few weeks and finally made it onto this board! I am new to CDing. My 3 year old who is potty trained during the day is still in diapers at night, so I am "trying" a few things out on her right now. I bought a Flip with stay dry insert and a BG OS pocket and some prefolds to go with covers that someone is giving me. I am leaning towards prefolds and covers with #2 and maybe some fitteds really early on and some pockets for daddy/grandma/night time.

I really really love the organic flip inserts for nighttime with DD. Paired with a doubler they are leak-proof! Your newbie stash sounds great, too! We have a mix for different occasions.

It takes some playing around to find what works well for you I loved prefolds and covers for the newborn stage. i bought some fitteds for this one. I switched to cloth when my ds was 1 week old and this one I plan to cloth from the first diaper

I am excited! My mom is a great seamstress and well I can sew some so we are going to attempt to do some homemade fitted's, covers and maybe some pockets. I figure I can atleast sew the inserts

Had a doctor appointment today, great heartbeat and ultrasound planned for next friday! Ready to find out if it will be a Judah or Eliza
