naps UGH

dd doesnt nap reg. some days she naps 4-5h others not at all. everyother day is her normal 'routine'. so yesterday she didnt nap and didnt go tobed till 9:30pm.

she didnt sleep that well and I coudlnt put her down to nap today. Finally, at 3:45, I plopped her into her crib and walked out. she's not crying or fussing at all so I just left her. I havent heard her babbling to her toys in 15min or so. I'm DYING to go in there and check on her but if I do and she's not 100% asleep, I'll wake her up. the floor outside her room has a HUGE creaky spot (darn old house) I'm tryign to figure out if I could go outside and peek through the windows but they're up high and the curtains are shut. (not to mention the snow outside)

Normally, I dont care but today, I NEED her to nap. Its my bday and we're going out for a nice sushi dinner. I cant take a cranky toddler out to dinner. and its all you can eat so we cant do take out.
