Ok I posted this in the pumping section but thought I would post here also. I heard some where that the freestyle is a closed unit pump, is this accurate info?

i beleive it is not a closed system, doesn't it hook up to the pump with a tube? (meaning the motor could come in contact with the milk particles)

No, it's not a closed system - not safe to buy used, unfortunately!
