Is it even worth it to sell prefolds?

Since they cost so much to ship, should I even bother? After the hassle of hauling my kids to the post office, I just wonder if it's worth the few dollars of profit? What do you girls think? And if it isn't really worth it, what should I do with them? I already have a ton of cleaning rags, you only need so many. I guess I could freecycle them...

I'd try craigslist

I don't sell pfs often. Unless they are really "in demand" pfs and are in EEEUUCCC it's not worth it. If you are going to freecycle them you could just offer them up FFS on here.

sell them on craigslist. honestly i wouldnt waste my time if i had to mail them because i wouldnt pay any more than $1ppd each and thats if theyve never been used because i could just buy new ones about the same price but like mamabearto5 said craigslist might be more worth your time

Momma, I tend to watch the threads on here, and PM Mommas that look like they could use something I am wanting to get rid of, rather than go through the hassle of listing everything FSOT. I generally offer it to them FFS...especially where flats and pfs are concerned. Makes their day, and saves me alot of time and hassle, selling it off in half dozens, etc.

I agree with Craiglist - I was super happy a year ago when a local mama listed 50 or more in all sizes for only $20. I only had to drive 10 minutes to get them and saved a ton of money.

I agree to try your local craigslist. If you have any other diapers you want to get rid of inexpensively, make up a "try it cheap" or beginner cd'r kit. That is what I did with a mish-mash of diapers that were not really in demand. I got like $40 for a dozen prefolds, a couple pockets we weren't using, some inserts, doublers & 2 BSWWs.

Could you print a shipping label out & have the shipping company come to your home to pick them up?

Or trade them. Lots of people on the trade list are looking for prefolds and that way you could get something you want for the effort. I love trading!

Give them to a mama in need in the FFS section I am sure there is someone that could really use them and would be thankful for them.
