Need advise - potty learning signs
Hi,
Our son is 22 months old and is starting to tell me when he's pooped and peed. I thought I'd wait until he was 2, but now he's seeming ready. How do you progress when they are this young? He also is waking up completely dry from naps (3 hours ones). I bought some trainers and have a potty, but I'm clueless on how to start. Our daughter trained quickly at 28 months, but she was very verbal so she said she wanted to try..... Sorry to ramble. I don't want to miss the window or keep him in diapers if he's uncomfortable. TIA

Re: Need advise - potty learning signs
Is there any pattern to his peeing? I would stick him on the potty as soon as he gets up in the morning and just go for like every hour a few minutes and he'll get it...if he's ready then definately jump on it!! good luck mama

Re: Need advise - potty learning signs
Thank you for your thoughts. Yes, I think I know when he is going it's catching him before. Maybe I'll start with books and a doll and move from there.
Thank you again.
