we used Thirsties XS and Fishnoodles S and liked them both, though neither had the umblical cord dip it didn't matter to me because we used sposies the first week and a half or 2 weeks to get past the merconium and circ healing and the umbilical cord falling off. ETA he was 9# 10ozs at birth and 12# 12ozs at 1 month (can't find what he was at 2 weeks, sorry)

Thanks ladies that gives me somewhere to start. I just don't want to come home an realize nothing fits like dd. She was spoosied an I had like 8 packs of nb spoosies we had to go Exchange for being too small. An nb clothes that just sat unused.

My son was 8 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches. He fit into my FLIPS from birth. GMD oranges and my NB covers didn't work. BSWW and GMD yellows did (and still do).

My bff used Imse Vimse and Bambino Mio covers for her DD from weight about 7.5lbs-11lbs and they were nice and trim and soft.

DD2 was 9lbs 3oz and fit into her xs thirsties perfectly for a couple months. The orange edge GMDs were too small though.
