Oh, and I always freeze stuffed shells. I use Gia Russa brand and use the recipe on the back. I can NEVER fit them in the 9x13 pan So I fill that, then stuff the rest, freeze them with no sauce, throw them in a bag, and it makes a wonderful lunch. Throw some sauce on them, throw in the microwave and

I make breads, pancakes, burritoes, sandwiches, and full dinners. I am a big eat from the freezer lady but it gets the job done in a pinch!

Granola Bars! a 9x13 pan makes 18 bars, we keep them frozen and DH grabs one on his way to work all the time This is my favorite ever thing to make at home because its easy, healthy, and sooo much cheaper

Since we are dairy and soy free (and no soy-free margarines available in Canada) I always need to figure out the role of the butter to choose the best sub. Your recipe looks great (and way easier than mine) so now I am just wondering the role of the butter- moistener, binder, etc? Would canola oil or applesauce or pumpkin work as a sub do you know? TIA!
