comments from an outside site??

I have had LOADS of problems recently with my comments on my Blogger blog, and I'm thinking of using something else. I have heard that Disqus is alright.

Thoughts??

Welcome to the (usually) wonderful world of Blogger! You can follow using the google friend connect button, the subscribe button, or by adding it to any RSS.

Sounds like you guys have a fun road ahead of you. My twins were conceived via IVF, so I "get" the process. Hope all goes well.

I'm pretty good about keeping up with the people who comment on my blog on a regular basis, and I love to read other blogs when I can find the time! Haha.

what kind of issues are you having? I have been using blogger for years ,but am not as "avid" as I should be, so I don't get tons of comments... :P

What kinds of problems have you had? I've had trouble trying to leave comments with disqus, so I cringe everytime I want to comment on a blog and realize they have disqus

also, I really don't like signing in or rewriting my name every time i want to comment. I like commenting on blogger blogs because you can have an account or you can be anonymous without signing your name, email and website every.single.time.

But that's just my opinion!!

But now you have me worried that something's going to go wrong with my blogger comments, too!

I recently bought my own domain, and when I synced it with blogger, it didn't sync up my comments. So, I'm missing ALL of my comments prior to the middle of last week. I have left several messages on the forums all with ZERO response from blogger. I have read several things that say that it might take up to 24hrs for your old comments to sync up, but it's been five/six days now. /sigh/ I have a giveaway that is ending tonight, and I have all of the comments (because I moderate) stored in my email account, but it's very frustrating. And, all of the old comments on my posts! Ugh. I had a similar issue a few weeks ago... none of my comments were posting to my blog, but I was getting emails about them.
