Thanks! Purple with lilac trim wasn't "pretty" enough for DD, so pink and yellow flowers were a necessity. And butterfly buttons...I'll be so glad when I've used up all the butterfly buttons. She wants them on everything I make for her her.

I have Elysia's beautiful Jewels CW. What should it be? I was thinking a romper but am trying to work on fall clothes. Is there a pants version of a romper?

This yarn:

The pattern I'm going to do is actually long sleeved and legged....it's just a tester though, so the actual pattern isn't available yet. I haven't tried to test anything before so that it turns out ok.

That's beautiful!

I still love those colors! It turned out great!

Everything is so pretty! I really like the "tropico" shorties!!
Thank you! I love the shorties too, they are a little wild but they're pretty!

Beautiful!!

I like to do Lynne's bell ruffle on tops, it pleats really pretty and lays perfect even without blocking!

The second pic isnt an Elizabeth tunic obviously but it shows the bell ruffle better than the dark brown.
You need multiples of 4 stitches:
row 1: p3, k1
row 2: p3, M1B, k1, M1F
row 3: p3, k3
row 4: p3, M1B, k3, M1F
row 5: p3, k5

I usually stop there and then do about 3 more rows of p3, k5 and then bind off in pattern. You can keep going to get a fuller ruffle, though.
Thank you!

lovely work ladies!

lose the LS longies! I tried a DSS once..I really don`t have the patience for scarves. I wish I did though.
Thanks! I'm not usually big on scarves either but this one works up pretty quickly and is at least an alternating pattern so it's not a total snore-fest. I'm almost done! I can see the finish line!

I don't really know! I think part of it was just plain luck and then I switched skeins every three rows for the body so it broke things up a lot. It was a pain and oh man, the weaving in ends.

Thx ladies!
Nope, I made a pair for ds. They were so cute! We used them when the a/c was on and I was nursing him in the living room, it's always cold in there. I liked sleep sacks best though.

RFLOL! I have metal sz3's. Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking.. I hate those things with a passion. I have another gripe about DPNS. Why oh why does hiya hiya not stamp their dpns? Don't they realize that I'm half blind as a bat and can't tell the difference between them by feel? Keep your eyes peeled on Joann's craft site, the needles go on sale every now and then and you can buy up Clover brand dpns for $3-4 a set and they have their regular coupons you can add too.

Morning ladies!

I'm itching to do another newborn set... but I think I better finish up these large longies first.
