Am I allowed to post that here? It really is mostly just abou my kid and family but once in a while I blog about stuff like this that I find interesting, or my once a month cooking adventure or what not. I guess if I can figure out how I'll put it in my siggy since I think that is legal.

Thanks, really it's mostly just boring stuff about my family. I do it because I'm to busy to call my family and let them know what is going on. But once in a while I have a topic that would interesting to people outside the family.

What ever the heck you want. I have been using dawn, but dr. bronners would work, I've used Method, and the polmolive ecosense stuff.

I was wondering if bronners would work
Where do you get your citric acid from? Making dishwasher detergent is on my to do list but haven't been able to find it in stores? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong section though I did see this-does anyone know if this is a good price?
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20
And does anyone know if it goes bad quickly? I think 5lbs would last a loooong time if I'm just using it for dishwasher detergent!

I buy it with canning supplies it's used in canning tomatoes. Our health food store in town also carries it because it's also used in sprouting sprouts to keep bacterial growth down. But like I said a couple of packs of lemon kool aid should do the trick too.
