Re: Basically it's Woolly Wednesday!

Up and this morning. Oh my. E was up a ton, I had insomnia, and now Ru is off to work. It's raining, so luckily I have the car to take E to swimming. It's cleaning Wednesday today, but luckily I did some of the cleaning yesterday, so I have less to do today. Though I do have to make some chocolate chip cookies with E.

There's one colour in the colourway that the dye length is very very long, so no matter what I tried it was pooling. I gave up fighting with it, but was still having some issues with carrying the yarn along the inside of the hat - some of my colour switches were being pulled too tight and not lying flat. It's all knit up now though. Waiting for Kari's approval of it (in case she hates the pooling and I have to rip it back and try... I dunno!) before posting pictures.

Did you buy that boyish lot of midrange Megaroos off of fsot, tif?
I just picked up a premium size off of spot's to try on B. I think the midrange would be too small for him?

Well i guess it isnt bad per se. We have an extra room fro an office and he wants to build a room in the basement. THey will pay him to set it all up. Sounds like a great opportunity. HE sent the contract to his lawyer sister and she slammed him abotu having two small children and working from home blah blah. Really? Um she has no kids and no one to worry about feeding clothing and housing.

I have serious issues with yarn that pools and will try everything possible to avoid it. Yet I still buy hand dyed yarn.

Can you post a pic?

He is a sweetie, he really loves them. Plus I just learnt he cant sleep without his (any lovey....I have to admit we have more in pink than in blue.....I really need to get him more loveys) lovey....sometimes he wakes up to early from his nap and I plop his schnuller in his mouth quickly and chuck his lovey at him and he goes back to sleep....but he didnt used to, he would get even more pissed. Now I give him his lovey he always goes back to sleep.

Well the little people sheep are covered...just the humans may starve!
