The GD test is annoying... I always feel like I have drank 10 red bulls and my vision gets all weird. I hope your test comes back negative

I haven't decided yet. I am leaning more toward LM "emperor" for a SH. It matches Mizzou's colors and I have enough to do a SH and a Juliette skirty for a cheerleading style outfit. I also have enough SB "Promise me Autumn" and am thinking about using that for the RHS.

And... Good morning everyone!

LS in the round is knit one, slip one with yarn in front (as to purl), you alternate the knit stitches each round. I just use the pattern I always knit longies in and modify it for LS.

IDK what to use! IDK what I want yet either!! Somebody spam me some girly yarn for a SH!
perfect! i might just try LS one of these days.

where does one find a pattern for LS longies?
I just used my regular pattern (freckle) and made a couple modifications. On the short rows, sometimes I had to go one stitch either direction to turn because I couldn't do the wrap on a slip row. I was worried about that showing but the stitches are so small I don't think it made a difference and I couldn't point them out if I tried. I did my gusset a little differently, I read through the "pattern" on Rav and didn't think I'd want to do it that way, sounded bulky. So what I did is add about an extra inch in regular rounds to the rise and only did two or three increases for the gusset and did those stitches regular stockinette. It's so small that you can't see it really, and I like how that keeps them nice and flat. It's not as bad as you'd think, just give it a whirl.

Ok, so where is the SH/RHS kal being held and when? I'd love to make a SH for one of my boys, probably ds3 since my older two are well into boy's sizes. How big does the pattern go?

I have Dragon's Lair on Targhee for a SH for DS2. I'll probably take the yarn with me on vacation next week but I don't know if I'll get around to working on it. I have other stuff I have to work on too.

Also going to do 2, 1 in FR Edward on willow merino (18-24mo) and the other in DBK Storybook Ending on SW (2/3).

SH goes up to size 4/5. I thought there was going to be a bigger pattern released but I don't think it has yet. I bet it wouldn't be too hard to modify to a bigger size if you needed it though.

What a great way to do the gusset/increases. I'm still working on the legs on my NB LTs but also brought along some MM dragons lair to CO for longies for DS. I also started on the mossy sweater last night but want to get different yarn, so will have to wait until the weekend when I can get to the lys.

good luck. i always hated the glucose test.
i'm working on a newborn longie set in mm october morning. I love this colorway, it is so beautiful. If I had enough of it, I would make longies for ds, but i don't have enough I just listed some woodland tale on spots, and it makes me sad. But it's just sitting here and I really need the pp.

Re: Knitters/Hookers/Spinners/Dyers -WIP- 7/28

Morning!

Where is the SH KAL happening and when??

Ack , I have a yucky cold right now, which is kicking my behind. Yuck. I'm hoping it goes away soon.

I'm almost done my tunic, just 3 rows of the ruffles left. I may get it done today if I'm feeling okay.

I need to get some yarn for the STIH KAL. I'm debating whether to order some online or buy locally. Hmmm. Do you think 12 oz would be enough for 12-18 month size? Off to look online. Anyone see any good sales online?
