On the box under warnings it reads:

Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.

Sorry I don't have a better answer.

I wouldn`t it contains alcohol. Even if you put it in hot water, the chemical structure of alcohol has an affinity for the polarity of the water, thus it does not burn off like many would have you believe.

You can try emotional freedom technique (I think they have instructions for this on mercola.com) or deep breathing.

Some mamas use botanicals that appear to be safe in babies and children, such as chamomile tea (small dose such as a cup per day for mama), although you probably want to consult a medical professional to get confirmation that this is safe for your particular case.

If I remember right you can, it is in alcohol, but it is such a small amount that it will not matter

I do not agree. The medical literature is now saying that we do not know if there is any safe level of alcohol exposure during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and is thus recommending strict avoid of all alcohol containing products.

You can now get alcohol-free rescue remedy, which is a good option. If you must use the one in alcohol, it is a homeopathic, so you could actually have one drop in 1-2 or more liters of water (shake it up to increase the effect) and sip on as needed during the day. This would reduce your alcohol exposure hugely - at this point the candida in you gut is likely more alcohol than you are consuming.

Also watch vanilla extract, as it usually contains alcohol, unless it is in a glycerin base.
