For the sleeves, I think I would've picked up & knit down in the round...but too late now, you've already done them. Probably the same sort of seam you use for the fronts & back. Make sure you wash & block before you seam and then I would pin/clip the sleeves in place to make sure they don't move around too much. GL!
I'll go check out those sites..

believe me I would have knit in the round! I am finishing this, the lady who started it passed away and I was asked to finish it because it is a tradition that all great grandchildren get this set. All but one sleeve on the top was done when I got it...so I need to knit one sleeve, put it together and then do the bonnet and booties.

Also, once the sleeves are seamed, what is the best way to attach them to the sweater? I wish I hadn't gotten this 1/2 finished, or I would have converted it to knit in the round

I did a sweater for DS3 that was knit in four pieces (front back and two sleeves)... I remembered not liking seaming it so I blocked out how I attached the sleeves... but I will take a look at the sweater tonight and try to figure it out if you'd like.

You won't catch me knitting anything the requires seaming, well not a lot of seaming anyways. I'm scared of it.

thanks, I'm sure it will be helpful! I've already modified lol. The pattern wanted me to sew the front edging on..5 stitches knit for 89 rows, then seamed on. Insane.
