Re: Basically it's a quiet Saturday...

OMG I'm going to die! I swear I wish I'd just asked for them to perform a hysterectomy when Fynn was born. I hate getting my period. It just hurt soooo much.

I have the neckband done and set up the markers on the Small things romper. I'll work on it more tomorrow. It's too late to knit anymore now. I'll just mess it up.

I've taken some painkillers...hopefully I can sleep now.

everyone

They are rather tricky to get a tight fit. I do something between a jellyroll and a simple newspaper fold. Elisha's got nice chunker thighs so that helps.

I did get bamboo fleece and have some knits on the way to make some of my own. I just wanted to make sure I like them and I do. Very much. The extendeed tabs are nice now that I have a baby who rolls sideways as soon as his butt hits the changing pad.

@Janine- I remember my terrible cramps and don't look forward to the day AF comes back. I've enjoyed the past 13 or so months off. She can take her time.

Re: Basically it's a quiet Saturday...

Not caught up at all....back from taking Julia to the doctor and running errands in town

diaper rash is, in fact, yeast rash. We now have a stronger antifungal. It was improved this morning, but not completely healed. Facial rash (arms seem to be about 95% better) covers most of her forehead and extends behind her ears and has been labelled as dry skin and cradle cap. We can treat that with over the counter stuff.

Picked up some coconut oil as I remembered Faith mentioning that works well for yeast rash - so Faith, how do I use it? I know that I need to warm it to make it liquid (according to the label), but do I need to remove it after an hour like the jar says? Also picked up some of the Huggies Pure and Natural dipes so that we can put sposies on J at night and not have to worry about them leaking since the others are too big.

After all day in town, the girls and I are tired. Sadly, they are going to have to go to bed soon....

Re: Basically it's a quiet Saturday...

Elisha just had this giant green liquidy stinky poo. I have never seen such a poo. I'm wondering if it's this teething poo that you speak of because he drooled through four bibs today and had his fingers in the front of his mouth all day. He didn't really act in pain or sick, though. He's. Just been a little sleepy. Uck. I hope he's okay for the night. I don't want to use wool if there's risk of an explosion.
