Re: Basically it's a quiet Saturday...

Tricia ~ Thanks! I was hoping I wouldn't have to try to remove it. My plan is to use it for the daytime diaper changes when I don't put the prescription cream on. Will that work ok? I'm not going to mess with it at night (she only gets changed once at night anyway - and not at all if she co-sleeps unless I notice a leak since that's about what it takes to wake me up). She's back in sposies at night to see if that helps as well.

She doesn't seem to be bothered by it, but she doesn't necessarily have the motor skills to scratch yet so I could be wrong. I'm considering cutting out dairy for a week if the anti-fungal doesn't clear it up significantly in the next few days. The tube says to use it for 10 days to make sure it's fully healed.

that sounds like a good thing to do during day changes, should help soothe it too if it is itching. You could maybe add a probiotic also for you that would pass some to her in the milk.
nystatin is only about 50% effective so its not super suprising that it didnt work well for her. i dont really understand why doctors use it so much still
