Re: Basically it's Monday

I just sent DH (who put the heat on again, LOL) to get me a coffee and the girls some donuts, even though I have made pancakes. He says he's going to Dunkin Donuts because they have more of both, it will be better (poke poke, Peggy).

If they have the powdered chocolate frosting filled donuts, it may be the death of me. It's like the closest thing to this house. I'll weigh 892 pounds by Xmas.

@Cheryl - Did you see the drawings I posted yesterday? If not, I can email them to you. I tried two different grays and still had the black and white ones up to compare.

Mmmmdonuts. I need to figure out what I want for breakfast. I don't think I feel like cooking eggs, so it'll probably be yogurt and fruit with some of my new homemade bread as toast.

No I didn't see. I was chasing DH's v8 hemi with my 4 cylinder mom-mobile all over MI trying to get to and from IKEA. Please send, I wanna see. If I don't respond right away, it's because the kids got up and the movers arrived. I know I'll love it.

Okay. I'll probably send you an email once I get to the office. I'm going to go get breakfast and get ready for work.

Have fun!

Re: Basically it's Monday

mmmmmm...Dunkin Donuts.

We are having yogurt with bluberries and granola.
B ate all of his, and now is sponging off of me!

The girls have already run off to play barbies, before eating anything.
B is still wearing his night time saggy huggies, so I guess I will have to interupt my coffee to go change a toddler and yell at some girls!

It may be possible to solve your problems without surgery, or less lurgery, IDK. I myself have disabling period pain, to the point of violent vomiting and such, and so I went on Depo to make it stop. Ironically it is worse for many to take depo, and it can cause weight gain, etc but for me it's better than the alternative.

So us southern wimps suffered through our first night in our MI house, and already put the heat on. In August. We decided to all sleep in the basement because it was cooler and a better way to contain all the kids (read: keep Ian from falling down the stairs while we were sleeping LOL) and we were SO cold. It was probably low to mid 60s, not bad, but way cooler than we were used to sleeping in, especially in the summer. We only had sheets and summer clothes so we were chilly.

Truck should be here in a couple of hours. Can't wait. So much to do, but we can't do it until our stuff is here, LOL.

I need coffee. And there is no coffee maker here now. I may have to make DH go to this Tom HOrton's y'all keep talking about.
Oh wow, Cheryl I've always had pain but never thrown up because of my periods. My doctor didnt say anything about needing hormones. My MIL had it done a while back and doesnt take any hormones.

Sorry about the temp change shock and poor Ian fall down the stairs.

Its very sore and she is upset about it but she'll live I think. I'm just glad I'm not one to blindly follow advice. I was in the St John's ambulance as a kid and knew what I saw needed proper medical attention.

We are off to a lazy start this morning. B didn't sleep very well. I wish I knew why he was waking up crying in the night!?

Not much on the agenda here, just the usual.
Maybe he is dreaming and it's bothering him? He is getting older and experiencing more and more in his day. Some kids are scared by dreams. I hope it passes quickly.

He loooooves to wake up and talk now. It's so cute, though I wish it was at 7am instead of 6am.

He's trying to turn around on his play mat to see what I'm doing on the computer. I it.

Janine. I hate pumping; I find it uncomfortable. But, I still try to pump twice a day while at work so there's milk for hubby. Elisha still isn't a fan of the bottle and he doesn't eat while I'm at work 50% of the time. He'll snack on a few ounces then quit. So, I know how that is. I'm sorry about the thrush. I have a feeling that makes pumping even less fun than I imagine.

As for the hysterectomy, I'll be praying the doctors help you make the right decision. If you're done with kids and in so much pain, I can totally see why that'd be an option. You'd have to take hormones, though, wouldn't you? My mom had a hysterectomy after my brother was born—she wanted them to take her uterus after they took my brother out by c-section, but the doctors said there was no medical reason to do it. So, a few months later, she was diagnosed with endometreosis. She got to say, "I told you so." It was a rough six months—two c-sections in half a year, basically.

Hmm. What do I want for breakfast?
Talking babies are soooo cute!

I hate pumping because I just dont know if he's getting enough. I think I've figured it out. The pumped milk cools down too quickly so I put it in a jug of hot water and only take it out just as I give it to him and he happily guzzles the lot. I even tried 2 different bottles and he drank from both. One was a regular narrow opening bottle with a flatish teat and the other was the avent teat. He spilt a bit with the avent but he almost inhaled the whole teat with the other bottle.

My doctor told me they wont do a hysterectomy unless it's an emergency during a c-section because of how the blood clots after childbirth. I shall be looking into it properly and find out all the facts before I do ahead and do it.

We haven't had bottle deposits in TX for literally decades.
We buy coke by the crate here We often go the the shop with 4 crates of empty coke bottles.

Janine, I hate pumping. I had to do it a lot with the girls, and I decided with Ian I just wouldn't. DH was SO mad, especially when Ian turned out to refuse formula altogether. He got in the habit of giving the girls a formula bottle before bed as infants to get them to sleep longer at night, and he couldn't do that with Ian. I never had thrush with him tho, so I literally never pumped with him at all...so nice. DOn't envy you now, with the pain and the pumping.
The pain is much less than nursing so I think I'll cope especially as he seems to be drinking it ok now. I was so worried he's died of thirst if I tried to pump. I probably made it much worse by carrying on with nursing even through all the damage. I was in tears while nursing yesterday.

Fynn seems so happy this afternoon. I gave him 110ml bed his nap and 90ml after his nap and he is wandering around the living room playing whatever crosses his path for a moment and then carrying on. Chatting and clicking his tongue as he goes

They are still asleep...

On the one hand, don't want to wake them up, especially with DH still out. On the other hand, don't want to wake them up when the movers are already here. Hmm... what to do...

Make hot chocolate and then wake them?

SO cute though...all sleeping so sweetly together. Mine would be killing each other before they would sleep like that.
