We're going to Germany in March.....it'll be quite the trip! My first time in Europe (same as DS1 and soon to be DS2) and countless times for DH. His mom was born and raised in Germany and didn't move here until she was almost 23; FIL was based over there and they married in Germany. We want to make it there before DH's grandparents are no more. DS1 will have just turned 3 and DS2 will be almost 5 mo.

Wow, thank you, that would be great. I dye in a crock pot right now. With acid dye I'd have to have one just for dying right?

I think eventually I will start to get into the acid dyes I LOVE the anticipation of what I will end up with! I really enjoy dying and then working the yarn into something "hopefully" beautiful.

I never pumped at work... I was VERY lucky that my bosses gave me 6 months for maternity leave and then let me split my lunch break in half so that I could go nurse him twice during the day.

This will be my third trip to that beautiful country! My dad usually flies to the States, but since I moved to the SW (from the NE) it's a bit longer and harder on him so we offered to fly out....sacrifice if you will . We will spend a little time in VA seeing DHs parents then continue on to Ger. from there....then do some railing to two other countries.

You were very lucky Shelly! Did you get paid for the 6 month maternity leave? My work didn't pay for any maternity leave, I got a whole 8 weeks off that I used my vaca/sick time for. Ahh, the American workforce at it's finest!
