The longies are cute Ashley!

im lengthening the TIG Carsen hoodie I did. I knit the 18-24mo but the pattern is meant to be shorter and it hits right as the little guys waist right now and she's afraid it wont fit in the length come fall, so Im adding another 2 inches to it. Then after that Im going to CO another sleuthing in FR Fire on the Mountain for a yarn for work swap.

So in your opinion do you think I should add another color by the lighter pinks to break it up a bit?

Im in a knitting funk. Im not 100% sure I really like knitting for other people...... or at least not as MANY projects as I have been. Im def taking a break to do some personal knitting once Im done with these customs, and I think after that I might only take like 1 or 2 projects a month for yymn things. At least until I knit all my yarn and run out of paypal to buy more that is

Emily, Thats how i feel. I would rather be working on stuff for my own LO. It takes me double the time to knit for someone else because i am not as interested in the project.. I like knitting for my own kids.. :/

I am the same way about it, at least for now. I figure I won't enjoy it until I have knit everything I want to for my kids. I hope that someday I DO like to do it so I can open a hyena cart but, I think it is hard to give up something that took SOOOOO long to do and people don't really pay what it is worth hourly to do. Although, someday, I am sure I will miss making tiny things and will love to do them for others

I don't think so - not that I've ever dyed yarn, but I think it'll be a nice, subtle semi-solid right now. If you want it to be more like a pink/purple colorway, than add another color to it.

Ashley - the purple longies are really cute with that pink ruffle!
