Re: Knitters/Hookers/Spinners/Dyers *WIP* 8/4

Morning ladies!

I got some work done on the tester sweater last night and I also dyed some yarn... I need to touch up a couple of little spots, but overall, I really like how it came out...

Oh and to the mama looking for Christmasy yarn....

I'm in Alberta north of Calgary. I grew up just south east of Edmonton. We are really close to each other, like a few hours drive!! Wow!

Morning ladies! I'm spending the day resting and trying to coax these contractions into something more regular. I'm so so so done being preggo. If one more person tells me that this is a really hot summer to be so pregnant I'm going to scream. I finished up a Pinwheel Sweater for my daughter late last night, so I'm going to try to take pics of that.....and I'm still pluggin away on the Persimmon RHS.

They fit pretty well. I think I'm going to re-work the legs though. My DD had a huge growth spurt so I need to add some to the legs. I think I'm going to frog them and make them a bit of a wider leg look, they fit, I just prefer wide legs on pants!

Wow, mat leave in Canada is nice! I would not have had any pay and only six weeks off. Lame.

I am going to try and squeeze in as much knitting as possible today. I cleaned out the fridge this morning and made the weeks menu/ grocery list. I will be going to the store today Groceries are just SO expensive. How much do you all average a week on groceries? I would say we average about $150 a week. I feel like that is a lot, but am curious to know about yall.
Bella also has her 9 mo check up today, this will be her 2nd round of vac., I started them at 6 mo. and hate it.

SO pretty! I really want to knit the RHS sweater but I only have cascade 220 to use for it and I'm not sure if it would be enough for a 6 mth sweater. I have 2 skeins of the main color and 1 skein of trim, do you think that would be enough?
