Portable nightlight suggestions?

My son's Mobi TykeLight died So sad. They don't make the one he had anymore, and apparently the new ones suck. So what kindof portable nightlight(that he can sleep with) do your kids have?
I need to get him a new light.
Thanks!

Hey, i just wanted to say definantely do NOT buy the tyke light. I bout the tyke light jr for my son, and have had it for 4 mos, and the battery cover broke, and nothing will keep it on. And it broke for no reason. Like in the middle of the night, my son woke up screaming because the thing broke, and when the batteries pushed at it, it fell over and the broken battery cover popped him in the face. Not happy!

Re: Portable nightlight suggestions?

Yeah, we had the first gen tyke light that was awesome! Lasted 2.5 years with no issues, it was the rechargable kind with base. I see that they changed it now(and reviews say not for the better!), to either the multicolored rubber one that is rechargeable or the AA battery one. Both get crappy reviews.
I want something similar that he can sleep with because he's used to doing that. I see they have soft turtles with stars on it's back, stuffed bears whose fir lights up, and plastic molded lights similar to tykelights called kinderlights.
And that Munchkin one looks cool. Their website says the have some at my nearby target. I'll have to call them tomorrow & see if they have any.
I'm open to suggestions & experiences. Don't wanna have his heart broken again He is so sad right now.

We don't have the twilight turtle but we do have the cuddle cub by the same company. It doesn't light up so I can't say anything about that but it is well made. I bought it for Kearnan for his deep stimulation cuddling needs, the vibrating/beating heart was an added bonus, really helps soothe him. It has held up for over a year now and is good as new (though the batteries need replaced rather frequently, he loves on it a lot).

We just got one a few weeks ago at IKEA and DD loves that thing. It's a rechargeable one and changes colors or can be left just single color.

Can he sleep with the Ikea one? The pic makes it look like it's a corded stationary lamp. The discription doesn't say really. I like the price!

Yep, you can unplug it and take it to bed and then plug it back in the morning to recharge.
