Looking for a peanutbutter cookie recipe

Let's just say I never bake can't do the whole following a recipe thing very well...lol but, my dd convinced me to give it a try today! We are looking for a really yummy simple recipe. Can anyone suggest one? TY

Here is my recipe, it's the same one that is in my Betty Crocker cook book and my DH always loves it:

Also, you can take a traditional chocolate chip cookie recipe, and substitute peanut butter chips for the chocolate chips. Or even the mixed bag that has choco chips AND pb chips.

I second the one in the Betty Crocker cookbook... those always turn out good!

Oh and I am too lazy to roll them all into balls by hand, so I just put scoops of dough (with a cookie scoop) on the cookie sheet and then flatten w/ a fork dipped in flour.

Same! I love my cookie scoop! I use it for filling mini muffin pans, too.

I make some ridiculously easy PB cookies.

1 cup PB
1 cup sugar
1 egg

mix it all together. form into balls and roll the balls in additional sugar. flatten with a fork making the criss cross pattern on the top. bake until you can smell them (or a little shorter). they are so super easy and SO yummy. i have even made them with less sugar before and added some flax seed. yummy!

I use 1 egg, 1 cup PB, and 1 cup sugar. I also add 1/4 cup of flour just to help them hold together better.
