Thumbs up How many of you have started back to school shopping?

I am planning on going this weekend, I never wait this long but we are heading to the outlet mall which is a few hours away.
My ds1 needs pants/socks and shoes, dd needs pants/socks and shoes.
ds2 needs a few pants socks and shoes.
They all have shirts from last year that still fit. ds1 got some hand me downs from my sil in both ss and l/s, he may need a new jacket this winter.
I may get some l/s if we can find some cheap as it is still hot here and long sleeve won't be needed until probably november here where i'm at.
I don't know what ds1 will even need for school, they didn't send the list home like last year.

Re: How many of you have started back to school shopping?

I have already bought all of DD School clothes except undergarments and socks . I started back before school got out, buying clearance things all summer long. Like yesterday i found a cute dress a target for $1.50 . We got the majority of dd's School clothes at sears . They hade a HUGE sale a few weeks back we got 34 tops and 21 bottoms and a dress, well over $400 worth of clothes for $108 and change. That even included a pair of $4 shoes . The best places i have found deals at are Sears, Kmart,Target,Kohl's and The children's place .I got jeans at the children's place for $5 School supplies i am still lacking a few of them as i can not for the life of me find a pack of jumbo pencils or manila paper.

I have done all of their clothes shopping, they wear uniforms. I bought most of their clothes & shoes at The Children's Place & Old Navy. I have gotten most of their school supplies, but still have a little more to get.

I just bought school supplies last night and we will finish clothing shopping today or tomorrow. We have tax free clothing, shoes, and diapers this weekend so we will take advantage of it.

Re: How many of you have started back to school shopping?

I went to the outlet on Monday and got all ds1's clothes with the exception of some solid colored shirts (which I'll get cheap at Target or Wal-Mart, they are just for layering) and socks.

I'm picking up school supplies next week. We have parent orientation for Kindy on Thursday and are supposed to bring their supplies.

We homeschool, but I've done most of our "back to school" shopping already...I got both of the kids tons of clothes a season ahead when Children's Place had their big clearance last year and I've picked up other stuff here & there on sale & on clearance. We got some of our school supplies and I'm picking up the rest throughout the next week while we have a tax holiday here.

I'm done! I bought him a pair of shoes on clearance & socks last night so we're all done. All his undies fit him just fine so we don't need new.

Even have his backpack fully packed & ready to go....got his lunch box. All I need there is food stuff to go in it.

Re: How many of you have started back to school shopping?

I bought all their supplies for their classrooms, but haven't done inventory on their clothes and shoes yet. I also bought them new ll.bean backpacks this year since theirs from last year looked horrible. This weekend is tax-free weekend here in missouri, so I really should get it done this weekend and save a few dollars.
