QUESTION for the dyers.... how do you keep track of how you did the colorways... I mean, do you just eyeball them, do you place the colours always at the same places on the wool, do you measure out your dye??
I made dye stocks for each colour...

I love targhee and would buy it but I have three skeins of Barn Owl already

I dont think so. I have the hiya hiya and they dont. Addis dont even come with 16" i dont think... the hiyas come with 16, 24, 36 and 40 I think... But I already lost my 16" cable, and my size 8 tips.

But I have plenty of size 16" and plenty of size 8s.. I mainly got it for the smaller size needles for fingering weight stuff, and to ML.

And I just realized what a dumbass I am, and here I have been wondering about knitting the RHS sleeves on 12s and I dont even freaking have 12s in size 5 lol. Im so used to knitting on 7s and 8s I didnt even think about it!! I guess Ill be magic looping...

I *think* Hiya Hiya makes a set with 12" but they're the only ones I know about.

Oh and regarding dyeing. I take notes on how I dye each colorway. Some of my older colorways don't have as detailed notes as my newer ones do, but I have notes on most of my colorways (except for a couple, which I need to try to recreate).

Morning!! Wow 4 pages already! I cast on for dd's Kenna Button Top last night and got the ribbing done! I love this top, I plan on knitting another one for next summer too.
