Re: Basically it's sunday

I LOVE the pix of E!

Becky, I'd do my own groups in FRB, already packed and ready to go, no subs or breakups. You get these fabrics in the FRB for $x. Where it is still a deal to get a spendy fabric in the bundle but you gotta take the less popular ones with it. Then those people can sell off the other fabrics if they don't want them. that's what I thought Peggy meant when she suggested it. NO picking and choosing, that's not any easier than selling them individually.

I'm trying it that way....but without pics I'm not getting any bites. Me thinks that I need to snap a few pics before I load them up.

Eating home-made vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips. I don't want to go to bed tonight, because when I wake up it'll be smoothie time!

@Mel. Hopefully, your elimination diet will turn something up to make things better, even if it's sad and hard to give stuff up for a while.

Re: Basically it's sunday

Yall are making me want ice cream. You know I have a 24 hour Dunkin Donuts, which means the Baskin Robbins is available too.

I have been thinking about asking for an ice cream maker for Xmas. Because I LOVE ice cream, but my kids and DH only like the occasional bowl. So if I buy a half gallon (or downsized equivalent, LOL - have you noticed many brands have scaled their half gallons down?), then either it sits and gets freezer burn or I wind up eating 3/4 of it before it does. Or worse, it gets the freezer burn then I eat it anyway. Anyway, I digress. I feel like if I could make my own, I could freeze quarts of it and it would be healthier, tastier, not go to waste, and not be the same price as a half gallon like the ones in the store.

We make our own ice cream without an ice cream maker. Do you want Ru to pop on and tell you her recipe? It makes a small amount at a time, and it's so good!

Well, we have one of those camping balls that can make ice cream. As long as it doesn't involve ice and rock salt, and rolling that thing around half an hour, I'm game!

Re: Basically it's sunday

I have a funny story. Tonight when we were doing bedtime routine, and we sent the girls to the potty, Ian said he wanted to go potty too. I happened to know where the little potty seat was, so I got it out. Back in the old house, he would sit on it when I would go, but not take off his clothes and diaper, just sit with me and keep me company I guess. But this time, he asked to take them off, and he sat down. He didn't go, but he did ask for paper and wiped off just like a girl would. Then he threw the paper in the big potty and flushed it. He was very proud.

I guess I have this to look forward to every night. Because he only wants to do it because the big kids do it at bedtime, not because he wants to use the potty.
