Re: Mama's of 3....
We have a Chevy Impala that we do three across in...but honestly, I dont think I could stand it for our only/main vehicle -- there's just not enough room for all the stuff that goes along with going anywhere with kids after you get three car seats in it. Not to mention the kids are so close together that they tend to constantly pick on each other more in the car than in the van.
I much prefer my van, and my hubby does too when we have the kids, even though he won't drive it by choice for his every day vehicle. |

Re: Mama's of 3....
I have a Tribeca. I wanted a mini-van but DH refused to drive one.
I still want a mini van. The Tribeca is fine, but it's not much bigger than an 09 forester. I can get 3 across, but they are in narrow seat (2 Radians FF and a keyfit).

Re: Mama's of 3....
We have a minivan, which is the main kid-toting vehicle. DH drives a little ford focus and we managed to fit 3 across in the backseat for those occasions when we have to use that car (usually once a week or so.) DS#1 is in a high back booster, DS#2 in a radian forward facing, and DS#3 in a coccoro rear facing. It does fit, but the passenger seat has to be scooted forward. Definitely not an all-the-time car for us.

Re: Mama's of 3....
We have three across in a Kia Rondo and a GMC Sierra truck.
We need to move to 4 carseats now though so we are going to do 2 and 2 in the Rondo and are looking for a bigger truck. Although a three across is possible in a Rondo I wouldn't really suggest it - had we know we were going to have two more children when we bought it (Dh thought he was done but changed his mind - lol) I would have bought a bigger SUV.
