Smile No vax friendly pedi in Fort Worth? Please recommend yours!

Hi mamas! We recently moved to Fort Worth a couple of weeks ago. I'm in need of a no vax friendly pediatrician in the area. I'm willing to make the drive a few miles out (hopefully not too far) to see one. We're pretty limited with who will accept our insurance (we're military so Tricare) so the more recommendations the better please! TIA!!!

I don't know how far of a drive it would be for you, but Southlake Family Medicine has been UNBELIEVABLE!!!! They have been so supportive of all of the decisions I made. It is a commute for me, but I would not have anyone else looking after my baby. His name is Dr.Benzick but I love all the docs I have seen there.

Oh man I just got directions and its about 28 miles away. But its not so bad if I don't get hassled. Thanks for that suggestion!!!

Anybody else have any recommendations please?

It's about 20-30 minutes away from me as well. It was hard for me to find a doc that would not only let me do it, but not judge me for doing it. I hope you can find someone close to you though. Have you tried doing a google search for "vaccine friendly DFW doctors"? Or maybe try http://www.askdrsears.com/thevaccinebook/. They have a link where you can find docs in your area that are vax friendly. Don't know how accurate it is or if there is anyone listed in the area but it is worth a try! HTH!

I have. And those listed with Dr. Sears don't take our insurance...and are about the same distance away from us too. I was hoping that there was someone who might be closer. I'm trying to figure out a way to make this work with our insurance too. Its giving me a headache!
