Stainless sippy?

Can anyone recommend a stainless steel sippy cup? I really want to quit using our plastic ones but I don't have a ton of money to drop while I try a bunch of different models. I'd really like to find an insulated one for milk too.

Re: Stainless sippy?

I saw stainless steel sippies at Walmart yesterday. Double walled (or whatever they called it!!) to insulate and spill proof. They were only $9.99.

We use clean kanteen but they are not insulated and occasionally leaky. I've heard good things about Pura Kiki stainless steel sippies!

Re: Stainless sippy?

The Foogoo is ok. It is by Thermos. It is insulated and has a sippy but it is not cheap.

My experience going thru this transition is that all the green options are pricey. So, our solution was only to use water when out and about and we bought Siggs. That way, we did not have to worry about insulation and there were a number of lid options for all ages. We did not have to worry about leaking a tad, although Siggs don't leak, since water does not stain or stink. So, my kids only drink milk in a restaurant or home, not on the go.

We use klean kanteens with sport caps for everyone. They are easy to clean, and I don't worry about insulation. You can buy a built NY sleeve for the KK that is pretty well insulated.

Kleen Kanteen with advent sippy adapter -takes a licking and keeps working great. I got steel no color so they don't get banged up looking from paint peeling off. I never tried Sigg and then that whole BPA issue they had turned me off. I figure I'll put the sports cap on when he's older. I do have to say that the KK is heavy when filled and hurts when it lands on a bare feet.
