CD detergent & San Antonio mamas

Hello San Antonians! I think I've finally decided that I want to try a new detergent with my cd's. I've been using All F&C, but after reading what pinstripes has to say about it, I think it might be to blame for my occasional leaky pockets. What do others in San Antonio use that works well with our hard water? Any suggestions on brands or where to buy? I know some don't work as well with hard water. Any one tried Country Save? Charlie's? I'd love some feedback and suggestions!!

-Michele

I was going to say RnG too. I'm in south TX but it's hard water too. And they are local to you so you could actually go pick it up and not pay shipping.

Yup, Rockin Green. Ironically enough I just switched to All F&C from RnG.

Another great one sold locally is Country Save. It is excellent for cloth diapers, and many who start using it on their cloth diapers start using it on all their clothes. It is mild, biodegradable, and fantastic for people with eczema or sensitive skin.

I am an Independent Consultant for Go, Baby, Go! and I sell Country Save and Rockin' Green through our website and in person.

We sell Country Save in a 10-lb box that lasts FOREVER and I deliver for free in the San Antonio area.

I just signed up with DS (today!!!) so Hi!

Awesome Liz! I was never able to find Country Save here in SA! Used to get it in HI at the commissary & in TN at regular stores, but have not seen it here I really liked it, but have been having good results with Whole Foods 365 liquid detergent

I buy mine through Alice.com. You need 6 items to order, but shipping is free. They have a decent coffee and tea selection, so 6 items isn't too hard to get. I'd never used Country Save before, but so far I like it. There is no smell and it's supposed to be OK for our septic. I have heard some not so favorable things about Rockin Green, so I haven't used it.

Oh, I should say that we have a water softener, so our water is neutral.

Personally I use Tide. And I gave up using anything with PUL because I had to strip them way to much.

Liz - welcome! I think I bought KLOs from you over 2 yrs ago at a Bill Millers Parking lot. lol

Hi, VeryChic, I don't think that was me, but it might have been Diane.

Yes, commissaries (I think Ft. Sam might) do often carry Country Save but it's not in as big of a box. Things might have changed since I heard that though.
