Pics of shared baby-toddler rooms?
So...just planning ahead here. Our DD is 15 months, we are hoping to TTC again soon, and we have a small 2 bedroom house. The loose plan will be to have the new baby in our room for the first few months, then share a bedroom with DD after that. DD's room is pretty gender neutral (aqua with red), so that won't be a problem, and I'm thinking it will work out space wise. But I'd love to see pics of shared bedrooms, or if you have any tips, I'd enjoy that too.

Re: Pics of shared baby-toddler rooms?
We have two rooms for the two girls. They sleep in one and play in the other. The frogs are in the bedroom and the flowers are in the playroom. Our girls are 18 mos and 3yo.

Re: Pics of shared baby-toddler rooms?
That is a great idea. Our son is 19 months old and we just found out we are expecting #2. We also live in a small 2 bedroom home and plan on having #2 in our room for the first couple months then moving into our son's room. His room is pretty small though and has quite a bit in it, so we have to rearrange and get rid of stuff. I'll probably be checking in here to check out the pix, too!

Re: Pics of shared baby-toddler rooms?
I like that bedroom, Blossomgoat!
I especially like your changing table. As part of our room transition, I think we are getting rid of the changing table, and then we'll use a little dresser to store diapers/have the changing table on top. In the changing table's place, we're going to put this china cabinet that DH is converting to a wardrobe (because DD has more hang up clothes now, and my closet is the one in her bedroom, and it is too cramped with us both sharing now). I should post some before pics.

Once the new baby arrives, DD will be 13 mos old. Bumping for more responses. Their bedroom is pretty small, so any ideas would be appreciated

I don't have two kids, but your question reminded me of this post http://www.girlsgonechild.net/2010/0...their-own.html by GGC. I loved the pics

Re: Pics of shared baby-toddler rooms?
We have a 1 year old and a 2.5 year old in one room, and when the baby is ready to move out of our room (im due in feb , so wont be for a while, lol) he/she will join them. I wont take pictures for you...its not decorated AT ALL. its a tiny tiny 9x10 room with sloped ceilings (cape cod house and its on the second floor)...and it has lovel 70's paneling.
we are planning on getting rid of the paneling in oct/nov so then I will decorate...until then it is utilitarian...we have a toddler bed, and a crib in there and NOTHING else.
