It totally didn't work on my newborn (7 pounds even). Way too wide.

Such a cool idea. Although this thread just made me realize that my 12wk old 16 pounder can't really be called a newb anymore....

Here it is! Love this thread... I'm going to attempt to use Flips on my next baby when it grows out of its newborn covers. We shall see how that little experiment goes.

Genius!! I'm glad I came across this thread b/c I just ordered 3 Flips through the sale, and I can use this if we get any tiny foster babies and I don't have to get any special covers!! Thanks!!

Omgosh! I have been searching for this thread for forever. I'm going to try this and post pics even though at thiscpoint my baby fits his one Flip fairly well. There is still extra fabric but it isn't too bad.
