BUMBO Seat

Has anyone used one of these? Would you recommend it? I have a four month old who loves to sit, but the Bumbo just seems a little spendy for a foam seat...would something else work better?

Thanks! Carla

I think they're great if you don't have a huge baby. We had one for the baby when he was about that age, but he was just too chunky to fit in it so I gave it to my neice after only a few weeks. Well worth the money if you can use it though!

I have the bebe pod (back comes up a little higher) and LOVE it. I bought mine used for $25 and gave it a good cleaning!

I liked ours well enough, we took it to restraunts and would sit Jack on the table with us while we ate. Very cool! We didn't use it but a couple months, Jack learned early on how to eject himself.

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.

We love ours. They were on clearance at some Targets or you could try craigslist, that's where I got mine for $10.

My avitar has Addison in hers. We only use it for a few minutes at a time, she's really still too little. But yep, I can see that it's going to be great.

they work well if you have a normal sized baby LOL...we had one but she had it for a month, before her legs got too big for it
I def. recommend looking for one used...I didnt and shelled out 60 bucks (59.99CAD @ Toys R Us) for something she used for a month!!
