It was BFN! Which is awesome, because we SOOOO are not ready for another baby. I was pretty sure that I wasn't pregnant anyway, but it's nice to know for sure. So I guess it's stress. I'm just going to start my new pack of BC pills tomorrow

Glad you got the news you wanted Katie!

So I tried to feed DD some baby food tonight, and she didnt' want any part of it. She wouldn't even open her mouth to try, lol! It's crazy because she's always grabbing at my stuff on the table. I guess we'll have to either wait or try some cut up steamed veggies instead of purree. She did love chewing on the spoon and playing with it while sitting in the high chair though. And she was really cute doing it.

And Cheryl that's so funny bc Nathan loves to eat anything and mashes his gums well. He's a huge fan of baby mum mums and I gave his scrambled eggs lastnight on his tray so he could feed himself, which he did ok at.

I saw my friend and her newborn, he is so tiny! I think albs was the smallest real baby I had ever seen irl till today. I'll have to post a pic.

This is Logan. I made him some cereal with bananas and breastmilk the other night while we were eating pancakes. He sat in his highchair and loudly demanded that he get bites of pancakes too. Its so funny. He loves his baby safe feeder and baby mum mums b/c he can feed himself

So I got the Mirena leas than two weeks ago and my milk supply has taken a divE. I'm so pissed bc the midwife I consulted with nor the doctor mention this as a side effect and they both knew I am committed to nursing for atleast a year. I usually do my own research but somehow overlooked this.. I saw it was "compatible" with bf but didn't think to check about supply issues. I'm going to try all the tricks though so hopefully I can combat it.

This is why my nursing relationship with Lana was so nonexistent. I didn't know anything about how important the first 8 weeks were to nursing, so I got the mirena at 5.5 weeks pp. Well, we were already struggling with nursing then, but still working at it. However, after I got it in, my supply tanked again, and then our nursing relationship was done. She would "nurse" for a few minutes at each feeding time, but really she was waiting on her supplemental bottle. That is when I went from only supplementing 1-2oz to supplementing 4oz at every feeding. When I went back to work, I was only pumping 5-6oz A Day (3pumping sessions). This time with Logan i get bw 12- 15 oz a day. I told DH that I was never going on hormonal BC while BFing again. We use condoms most of the time, and he is threatening the V, but I may get the paraguard.

I think Ethan wants to eat anything and everything sometimes. I was eating a cookie today (homemade sugar cookie type) and he was freaking out wanting a bite. So I gave him a little piece He made a face at first because it's a different texture than he's used to, but it basically melted in his mouth like a Baby Mum biscuit.
Now that I think about it, this is about the age that Keira started eating cheerios too. Maybe I should pick some up next grocery trip.

I went to the dentist today. I don't think pregnancy agrees with my teeth.. or the other way around because after both kids I've ended up needing a bunch of work done. I just got 5 fillings! all in the front bottom teeth. My jaw is still sore from the 2 1/2 hour appointment. I hope I feel better after a 'good' night sleep. I have too much to do tomorrow to deal with a sore jaw too.

Katie I got 6 cavities filled on October so I can relate! I brush twice a day and usually floss 3-5 times a week but have horrible teeth. Dh on the otherhand has had 1 his entire life and only brushes once a day... Gross and drives me crazy lol!

Jamie- yes, now I'm really glad I had to wait 2 months for an appointment. I'm hoping to maintain from here.. Were doing some solids now so I think I might be able to keep up with nursing sincehis intake will be a little less.. Might pump to similUlate more feeds.

We got lots of snow yesterday (lots for here)! This is the third snow of December and we usually don't see any till January, if at all... Not looking forward to the rest of winter

Okay, so you guys remember not so long ago we were talking about how we're not ready for our babies to be grown up? Well, I caught Matthew being "grown up" yesterday. Here's how I found him:



And I WATCHED him do it 3 MORE times while I was cleaning the bathroom! He was so proud of himself! He's 6 months + 2 weeks old today. None of my other kids were pulling themselves up this early!

This next picture I took because he was getting up on his hands and toes with his butt clear up in the air. He sees the camera and smiles really big, but won't do anything cute. But he's still cute!



Matthew LOVES playing under our coffee table. He's almost figured out how to climb over the bar!!!

Jennifer! I cannot believe he is pulling up already and how big he is. He is such a cutie. I guess he is just having to keep up with his big brothers!
