What to wear to bed? Co-sleeping and BF

What do you like wearing to bed to feed baby?

I never sleep naked - not sure I coudl get used to that on top. I have 2 nightgowns with slits in them that are sort of a pain. any suggestions? THANKS!

I use a sleep bra from motherhood maternity. They're the best!

I sleep in the cross over style nursing gowns or cross over regular gowns (they work the same) or a nursing tank/bra and shorts/pants.

I sleep in a nursing tank with panties/boxers/pants or a spaghetti strap nightgown. In the gown I just slide a strap down my shoulder and the I can free a boobie.

I slept in dh's big cozy tshirts. They were big enough on me that I could pull them up comfortably to nurse, I was covered enough so that dd didn't ask to nurse constantly, and I was cozy.

I use a regular tank top. I don't like having any extra fabric to get in the way at night and can't stand shelf bras while sleeping.

Re: What to wear to bed? Co-sleeping and BF

I wore Medela comfort bras or some cheapy cotton crossover leisure bras, I ordered from Hanes that were easy to pull aside at night. I still hated wearing bras to sleep in though! Bottoms were just PJ shorts or pants. Nursing gowns, t-shirts, etc. will get in your way, and be a pain. Towards the end of BFing through the night, I just put a flannel topped waterproof pad under DS and I (to catch leaks), and slept topless... that was by far the easiest! I had several of these pads, and just tossed them in the wash everyday. They were sized for a Pack N Play.

I'm most comfy in a nursing tank. Even when I fall asleep nursing DS and don't snap it up again it usually finds its way back more or less into place and I'm realtively covered. And it's the easiest thing to manage while half asleep. Plus DS hates it when extra fabric gets on his face, so he diesn't like the gowns with slits at all. I have a couple crossover type gowns and they are ok but not as comfy and I always feel like I'm going to fall out of the top when I wear it around the house in the morning!

I liked a low cut tank top so i could pull it from the neckline down...i hated pulling up on a shirt..too mich fabric around my baby's head and also lumpy for me to sleep like that. it was realy easy to just pull a boob out then pull the neckline out from under the boob to hide it again...great for co-cleeping/breastfeeding.
