I've checked out other religions (just had a rather vigorous discussion on Islam this evening, in fact ) but I came back to what feels undeniably true to me.

sure can!

Fynn just fell asleep after a story. He's in a carrier right now. I have a bad feeling we're all getting sick here

Do you have a suggestion for how to graft/join the gussets without a tap needle? I don't own one.

And I'm not sure how to start my legs. I just finished up my gussets. I'm at the point were I split the legs. A bit confused.

I liked the shade of that purple.... but I didn't like it with the other colors. I'm glad you figured out a color combo you like

No tap needle--make one with a paper clip. Straighten clip, twist one end into needle loop, tada! My girls lose my needles all the time (and I do occasionally too ).

For legs you should have most of the leg opening on scrap yarn? And then you pick up stitches around the gusset part and continue knitting around.

you can do a three needle bind off for the gusset. it's not as smooth as the grafted one but very strong and will work just fine. You'll need to turn your work inside out so you have the right side facing each other.

Once you have the gusset finished you'll pick up 4 stitches (by hooking the yarn though the space where there are no stitches) equally. Then just knitting and knitting until it's long enough for Moose. Count your rows so both legs are the same length.
