I only use yarn if it's going to be in the crotch of pants (like rompers) otherwise I use a coordinating color thread to match the button. (Sometimes I use clear plastic thread, if its like a Tessa Ann button that has a design between the button holes).

Here's my finished romper. I have not blocked it. My first time with button bands too. I hope I have a big baby so this fits before the winter is up, lol.

Grape Ape for Pinkebody's Charity Auction.

And here's Ariel's Song reskeined:

A Semi-Solid Kettle dye to match Ariel's Song. I am going to be doing some sock yarn later today/this weekend. So I need the practice, lol. It was a lot of fune to dye.


Sorry for over load. There is more but I am going to reskein now.

Yeah, I knew they were made out of all natural materials and are hand stitched (my sister made some for Melissa's girls at Christmas. I can understand they would be costly compared to a doll from , say, Walmart, but nearly $200?!?! Holy COW!!!! And I can understand the cost of Longies. I know how much the wool is and how long it can take to make them.
