I only use yarn if it's going to be in the crotch of pants (like rompers) otherwise I use a coordinating color thread to match the button. (Sometimes I use clear plastic thread, if its like a Tessa Ann button that has a design between the button holes).

And here's Ariel's Song reskeined:

I bought her a waldorf heavy baby ($100) last Christmas (It was the last one Joyce made and I had wanted one forever, so I HAD to get it)....... and she hated it She's just not a "doll" kinda girl I guess. But I ended up selling it on here for what I paid so it was alright.

Argh. My Gaia & my tester numbers aren't matching. Which is fine & I emailed for clarification, but I was going to take advantage of my insomnia & work on it a bunch tonight but I have to wait now, lol.
Yeah, I knew they were made out of all natural materials and are hand stitched (my sister made some for Melissa's girls at Christmas. I can understand they would be costly compared to a doll from , say, Walmart, but nearly $200?!?! Holy COW!!!! And I can understand the cost of Longies. I know how much the wool is and how long it can take to make them.
