Re: Basically It's Sunday

ugh -so operation "de-mouse the house" seems to be going ok. We scrubbed out every cupboard in the kitchen and put any open food (crackers, cereal) in sealed containers, but only found evidence of them being in one cupboard so that's good. I'm too chicken to check the traps -DH will have to do that when he gets up. We need to finish tackling the basement this weekend, but otherwise we haven't seen anything anywhere else so .

Cute jeans Janine! I never thought of making a pair -I might do that so Malcolm can have some that fit over his booty too.

Up here they often have "back to school" sales on fall clothes sometime in September / early October to clear room for the winter stuff (always a season ahead for clothes). Maybe just pick up a couple things now to keep them warm, then hold out for the sales?

Thanks guys. I used an old pair of my jeans and made the outside seam on them as well as the bottom seam go in the right place on Fynn's Jeans. Fun and really quick to make too.

Not great shots. Fynn didn't want to play and I just discovered after they left to go and play in the garden that the camera has a smudge on the lens

Re: Basically It's Sunday

Cute pics Janine <3 Fynn is such a doll baby!

I'm home from work and wired. I forgot to pump, so I'm waiting for V to wake up so I can unload this breast. Her nursing has really cut back over the past few weeks and I'm actually considering "thinking" about nudging her to wean. At the moment she really only nurses down to naps and bed, during the night and even when she does, it's not that much. I'm so tired of hanging on to this weight that I put on during pregnancy and I can't diet like I want to and nurse. When I don't eat a ton, my supply goes down the tubes and there is just no point. I wanted to get her through RSV season, but I keep going back and forth. I like to be able to comfort her and the bond through nursing, but I also want my body back. It's such a hard choice and I want to do what's best for her. For now, I'm not going to push her to nurse and see what she does. I am giving her a toddler formula during the day with meals to see if she will put on some weight. She has not gained much AT ALL in the past month...like maybe 3-4 oz's. When she nurses, she just takes a bit here and there and never really a large volume. I don't know. Done rambling. Can you tell I'v been up all night.

Kari, I LMAO when you said you were going to kill your husband. I have moments like that too. I tell him I'm going to "bust his lip"

nice jeans Janine

Cherly~I'm surprised that Target there doesn't have the Hanes sweatsuits out yet...I think they do here...the other place you may want to try is Kmart if there is one...they had sweat jackets advertised a week or so ago but weren't pricey when not on sale either...I think AC Moore or JoAnn's may have sweatshirts...
