Is this 'normal'? Hip pain

Every time I stand up I feel a weird hip pain like I was sitting in some really strange position or like I had some wild night in bed with crazy positions. After a few minutes it's not so noticeable. Is it the relaxin thing causing my hips to feel funny? Baby lower? Curious because I had nothing like this with ds.

Re: Is this 'normal'? Hip pain

As far as your description goes I would say normal...I have the same trouble...Each pain is specific...The pain at the center front of your pubic bone is the ligaments getting loose...but if it feels like it's in your hip bone joint that's a little different...Caused by the same thing, but I treat them differently...If it's in the joint see the chiropractor...if it's up front and really hurts I would wear a hip belt...Though the chiropractor will help that too...

That's me. I have to stand still and let them normalize before I go on, lol. It is much worse as the day goes on. I get the pelvic bone pain as well. I try not to sit too long and in the evening, I lay.

Re: Is this 'normal'? Hip pain

I get bilateral hip pain every morning upon leaving the bed. I actually limp and waddle to the bathroom and both hips have pain. It keeps getting better and by one hour is completely gone. I use a large pregnancy pillow too?? It's weird. But I hear near the delivery date, your body gets stretchy in preparation for delivery so I just feel my hips are shifting or something then tighten up again?? Who knows, but I get pain too. I'm not going to worry about too much unless it's all still there after the baby comes out!!
