Re: SPAM ME - fitteds!!!

I second Zoom Baby Gear. We have two of them--hemp fitteds, and we use them under our BP nearly every wash.

I like the swaddlebees fitted, in the organic velour. Trim, absorb well, and if you can find them used they are usually a great buy. i have some i love.

It depends ... is your DD a heavy wetter?

The most reasonably priced (under $15) dipe I ever found for heavy wetters were pampered cheeks and cub cover heavy wetter dipes. They are both on HC.

Since she's not a heavy wetter, I 3rd the Zoom Baby Gear suggestion ... soft, supple, velour for an amazing price!

OK, this is totally not at all what you're asking for, but I had to share b/c I use these 99% of the time with my BP covers. I LOVE bG! bamboo fitteds. They are super duper trim! Really soft, too. And although they have aplix (which I typically don't like either), it doesn't really matter unless she can get the cover off, kwim?

I know this totally wasn't what you were asking for, but a full half of my stash consists of these dipes, and I put them under my BP covers more than anything else b/c they work so beautifully together. Soft, trim, adorable. What more could you ask for?

how do they hold up, and fit? My DD didn't really fit well with the bg OS pockets..

Re: SPAM ME - fitteds!!!

I've only been using them for about a month, so I can't truly vouch to durability, but so far, they look as good as the day I bought them. And I literally use them daily. I'm sure they've all been worn/washed a minimum of 10 times each. The bamboo terry/poly blend just doesn't pill, kwim?

As for fit...that's possibly what I love best about them. The poly gives them this amazing stretch. One Pin reviewer said they "hug" the body, and that's exactly the right term. There's no gapping or anything. And although, like I said, I don't normally like Aplix either, combined with the super stretch of these dipes, it makes them fit like a glove. I've never tried their pockets, so I can't compare, but I just think the way these dipes are constructed, it'd be hard not to get a good fit.

And so I don't sound like a walking commercial, their one drawback is that they aren't the most absorbent dipes in the world. But since you said your DD was not a heavy wetter, that wouldn't be a big deal. I've certainly never had a leak, even when he's ended up stuck in one for 3-4 hours. The BP covers do a great job of preventing that.
