Anyone make homemade fruit jelly NOT using sugar, maybe juice?

Would love the recipe. All the ones I've found call for lots of sugar and I don't really want to use any. How about using a 100% fruit juice?

I'm sure some of you wise gals can help I really want to make some!

Sorry, yeah the Jelly I bought some knox. I'm going to look up recipes too. I just really hate using all that sugar. I love Polanar fruit spread but really think it would be cheaper and better to make my own.

Sort of. I recently started making freezer jam. I use 4 cups of crushed fruit, 1 packet of instant fruit pectin, and 3/4 cup of baking Splenda (it's half splenda, half sugar). That really limits the sugar, and it still tastes fantastic!

Sure, you don't even have to use a replacement if the fruit is sweet. Freezer jam is even possible with just the fruit itself. Check out allrecipes.com for lots of good ideas.

To get things to gel usually requires a ratio of 60% sugar for the pectin to work. There is a pectin called Pamona(sp?) that doesn't require sugar to gel so you can use anything to sweeten, even liquids such as honey or juice.

You can buy pectin specifically for making sugar-free jelly. It even has a few recipes in the directions.
I made a sugar-free grape jelly that turned out really delicious. It was 4 cups of grape juice (I used homemade, but you can use store juice) and the pectin. You could add a sugar substitute, but I thought it was good without anything else.
